These terms are an agreement between you and Grapevine Studios LLC ("we", "us") about Inkwell Puzzles (the "game"). By playing, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the game.

1. Who may play

You must be at least 13 [or the minimum age in your country], or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer the game, except where the law allows it. Parts of the game are third-party works under their own licences, listed in Settings ▸ Licences; those licences govern those parts.

3. Coins, power-ups and other virtual items

• Coins, power-ups, scoops, News Room money and other virtual items are a limited licence to use features of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or transferred to other players.
• News Room money stays in the News Room; it cannot be turned into coins.
• Rewards from the prize wheel are free (a wheel spin is never sold) and are decided by the game's rules.
• We may change, rebalance or retire virtual items and their prices, without liability, except where the law gives you rights.
• Virtual items are tied to your player account. If you delete your account or lose access to it without having linked it, they cannot be restored.

4. Purchases and refunds

• Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Prices are shown in the game as the store provides them.
• Purchases are final except as required by law or the store's refund policy. Refunds are requested from Apple or Google, not from us.
• If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the items it delivered; if they were already used, your coin balance may go below zero until it is earned back.

• The Press Card (a subscription). The Press Card renews automatically each month at the price shown in the store until you cancel it. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm and at each renewal. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store or Google Play account settings; you keep its benefits until the period ends. While you hold it, the Press Pass of any season then running is open to you; rewards already collected stay yours after it ends. 5. Fair play

You agree not to cheat, use modified versions of the game, automate play, exploit bugs, interfere with our servers or other players, or use the game unlawfully. We may reset, suspend or end accounts that break these rules, and undo rewards obtained by breaking them.

6. Availability and changes

The game is provided "as is". We may update, change or stop the game or parts of it (including daily puzzles, events and rankings), and may require an update to keep playing. Offline play saves progress on your device until it can reach our servers.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or virtual items, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how the game uses information.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time and delete your account in Settings ▸ Your data. We may end your licence if you break these terms. Sections 3, 4, 7 and 10 continue after the agreement ends.

10. Law and disputes
