A puzzle game for iPhone and Android
A newspaper's worth of puzzles, every day
Fill a crossword from a wheel of letters, work through Sudoku and Ink Lines, solve six new mini puzzles each day, and spend what you earn growing a newsstand into a media empire. Free to play, with optional in-app purchases.
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
The main games
Three games with levels to work through. Every level you solve earns coins.
-
The lead story
Words
Slide your finger across a wheel of letters to spell words and fill the crossword. Real words that aren't in the grid go in the bonus jar, and the longest word holds the level's coins. A wrong word spills a drop of ink; power-ups reveal letters and squares when you're stuck.
-
The numbers page
Sudoku
Fill the grid so that every row, column and box holds 1 to 9 once. Courses run from Easy to Master, then on to Mini 6×6, Odd & Even, Jigsaw, Thermo and Killer, with pencil notes for the tricky squares and a Fact Check when you need one.
-
The art desk
Ink Lines
Draw a line of ink from each dot to its partner of the same colour, and fill every square. Lines can't cross, except over bridges. Boards grow from small squares to large, winding ones, with portals, walls, ink wells and one-way arrows along the way.
Six daily mini games
A new puzzle in each, every day. A win spins the prize wheel.
-
Five Letters
Guess the hidden five-letter word in six tries, with each letter coloured to show how close you are.
-
Mini Cross
A small crossword to solve over a coffee: tap a square, read the clue and type. In English.
-
Mini Search
Eight words on the day's theme hide in the letters: across, down, diagonally, even backwards.
-
Connect
Sixteen words, four groups of four. Find what links them before four mistakes end the game.
-
Hashtag
Four five-letter words cross in a #. Swap the tiles until every word reads true.
-
Word Ladder
Climb ten rungs from the start word, changing one letter at a time to the word each clue points to. Three wrong words and you fall.
The News Room
Spend your earnings growing a newsstand into a media empire. Buy businesses and run them, hire managers to keep them running while you're away, and publish the scoops your puzzles bring in. When the company is big enough, sell it for reputation and start again bigger.
